The Main Bar at KONG welcomes you with parquet floors that catch the light from our floor-to-ceiling windows, while our bartenders prep behind a sleek counter backed by an impressive wall of spirits and cascading greenery. We've designed this space to shift naturally from sophisticated day gatherings to electric evening parties, accommodating up to 200 standing guests or 75 for seated dining. Our cozy booths wrap around the edges of the room, upholstered in jewel tones that pop against the bold wallpaper patterns we chose specifically to photograph well for those essential party shots. The central area opens up for mingling, with clusters of colorful chairs and tables that our team can rearrange depending on whether you're hosting a product launch, birthday celebration, or company party that people actually want to attend. During daylight hours, natural light pours through the windows overlooking Royal Exchange Square, creating the perfect backdrop for networking events or daytime celebrations. Once evening arrives, our warm ambient lighting takes over, transforming the space into something more intimate and festive. The DJ booth sits ready for when you want to turn things up a notch, while our two heated terraces offer breathing room when the dancefloor gets packed. We've equipped the space with everything modern events need: reliable Wi-Fi, a PA system for speeches or background music, and air conditioning that keeps things comfortable even when the party heats up. Our pan-Asian menu pairs perfectly with the craft cocktails our bartenders love creating, though we're equally proud of our world-class wine selection and small-batch spirits collection. Kong was a great venue for our office Christmas party in Glasgow. The venue was great and the staff couldn’t have done enough for us. Huge thanks also to Karolina at Zipcube who was brilliant and made the whole process very easy.
