Our Exclusive Waterside Bar opens directly onto Birmingham's canal, where you can watch the boats glide past from your seat at the window. The ground floor space wraps around our well-stocked bar, with plush seating in warm burgundy and amber tones creating distinct zones for mingling or settling in for longer conversations. When the sun hits those floor-to-ceiling windows in the late afternoon, the whole room takes on this gorgeous golden glow that makes everyone look fantastic in photos. We've arranged the space to work brilliantly for different party sizes. For seated celebrations, we comfortably fit 95 guests across the sleek wooden tables, or you can go for a standing reception with up to 200 people flowing between the bar, lounge areas, and our heated canal-side terrace. That photobooth tucked into the corner? It's become surprisingly popular at corporate parties and birthday bashes alike, with guests queuing up between drinks to capture the night. The terrace really comes into its own during warmer months, though our outdoor heaters mean December parties spill outside too. There's something about being right on the water that changes the whole energy of an event. Inside, we control the climate year-round, so your summer party stays cool and winter gatherings feel properly cosy. Getting here couldn't be simpler. We're practically on top of Symphony Hall and The International Convention Centre, with Centenary Square tram stop right outside. New Street Station is a pleasant 10-minute stroll along the canal, or grab a cab from Snowhill or Moor Street if you're coming from those directions. The transport links mean your guests actually turn up, which we know makes all the difference to a successful party.
