The Dining Space at Athens Greek Restaurant comes alive with plates of moussaka and souvlaki passing between tables while guests share stories over glasses of Assyrtiko wine. We've designed this room to hold 120 standing guests or seat 75 comfortably around our granite-topped tables, with wooden chairs that encourage lingering over long Greek feasts. Walking into the space, you'll notice how we've arranged photographs and artwork across the walls, each piece telling a story from our kitchen or the Greek islands. The greenery woven throughout adds freshness, while our adjustable lighting lets us shift from bright lunch gatherings to candlelit evening celebrations. We keep the air conditioning running perfectly so your guests stay comfortable whether they're sampling our mezze selection or dancing between courses. Our PA system and flatscreen TV sit ready for speeches, presentations, or showing those embarrassing birthday photos everyone secretly loves. The room transforms beautifully, we've draped it in white for christenings, filled it with balloons for 50th birthdays, and even set up presentation screens for company away days. Being so close to the Hippodrome and Chinese Quarter means your guests can easily find us, with plenty of transport links nearby. The real magic happens when our kitchen starts sending out platters of grilled halloumi, lamb kleftiko, and baklava drizzled with honey. We time everything around your event, whether that's a relaxed three-hour lunch or an evening celebration that stretches into the night. The space flows naturally from dining to mingling, with enough room for guests to move between tables and catch up with friends they haven't seen in ages. Every celebration here takes on its own character while keeping that warm, welcoming feel of a proper Greek gathering.
