Three Australian sisters transformed this former Money Shop into our rock 'n' roll living room, where exposed brick walls meet the blue glow of our well-stocked bar. We've hosted everything from intimate birthday gatherings to full-blown gigs in this 40-person capacity space, with bands like Mastodon and Refused gracing our tiny stage over the years. The Venue Space runs the full length of Blondies, from our street-facing entrance through to the bathrooms at the rear. Metal-framed tables and benches line the room, creating spots for groups to gather while others perch on high stools along our bar. We built every piece of furniture ourselves, which gives the whole place that slightly off-kilter character people love. When evening falls, neon accents and atmospheric lighting transform the raw industrial features into something more electric. Your guests can flow between inside and out through to our rear garden, where wooden benches sit under string lights. This outdoor space becomes essential when parties heat up indoors, offering a breather without leaving the celebration. The garden's rustic setup works brilliantly for summer parties or as a smoking area throughout the year. We've equipped the space with everything needed for proper parties: our PA system handles DJs or live music, while the projector works equally well for presentations at launch events or visuals during performances. Behind the bar, we pour our own Blondies beer alongside classic cocktails and a solid selection of spirits. The outdoor kitchen in the garden keeps everyone fed when celebrations run long. Lower Clapton's transport links make getting here straightforward, and our DIY ethos means we're flexible about how you use the space. Whether you're planning 35 for a seated dinner or 40 for standing drinks and dancing, we'll work with your vision.
