The Long Room stretches before you, 28 metres of polished grandeur where cricket's greatest have celebrated victories for over a century. We've hosted countless dinners here, and guests always pause when they first enter, taking in the soaring 6.75-metre ceilings and the parade of cricket-themed artwork that lines our walls. Round tables dressed in crisp linens fill the space, each positioned to capture views of the pitch through those magnificent windows. During summer events, golden afternoon light streams across the room, while our chandeliers create an intimate glow for evening occasions. The intricate moldings and period details tell their own stories, though we've carefully integrated modern touches like our PA system and wireless internet without disturbing the room's historic character. Our Long Room Bar adjoins the main space, where pre-dinner drinks flow as naturally as conversation. We find it works beautifully for arrival drinks, allowing your 200 seated guests (or up to 300 for standing receptions) to gather before moving through to dinner. The bar's more intimate scale creates perfect pockets for networking or catching up with old friends. Getting here couldn't be simpler. St. John's Wood station sits just ten minutes away on foot, and we're on the ground floor of the Pavilion with both stairs and lifts providing easy access. Our kitchen team prepares everything fresh on site, accommodating dietary requirements from halal and kosher to vegan and gluten-free without fuss. Whether you're planning a wedding breakfast with the pitch as your backdrop, hosting a corporate dinner, or celebrating a special anniversary, the Long Room transforms to match your vision while maintaining its essential character.
