Room 13 sits on our second floor, where sunlight pours through a generously-sized window and catches the crystal drops of the chandelier hanging above. This compact Georgian dining room feels wonderfully private, with space for 12 guests around our vintage dining table. We've kept the original fireplace as the room's centrepiece, its mantelpiece displaying an ever-changing collection of curiosities that spark conversation before the first course even arrives. The walls tell their own story through layers of vintage wallpaper and an eclectic mix of artwork we've gathered over the years. Mismatched chairs circle the table, each one carefully chosen for comfort during those long, leisurely meals that stretch into the evening. Traditional ceiling light boxes cast a warm glow across the space, creating the kind of atmosphere where celebrations naturally unfold. Our Italian owners christened this space Room 13, embracing the number as a sign of good fortune and prosperity. We find it works beautifully for birthday dinners where everyone can hear the speeches, baby showers with proper afternoon tea service, or family gatherings that need a door to close out the bustle below. The room comes with speakers ready to play whatever sets your mood, whether that's our carefully chosen background music or your own celebration playlist. Our kitchen team brings the same Scottish fare served downstairs, happily adapting menus for vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free guests. We can arrange cocktail masterclasses right here in the room, our bartenders teaching your group to mix drinks between courses. Located on Bath Street with excellent transport links nearby, Room 13 offers that rare combination: a genuinely intimate space in the heart of Glasgow where your party can unfold at its own pace, with our events team handling every detail behind the scenes.
