The Conservatory fills with Thames light from dawn to dusk, its bi-fold windows stretching across the entire riverside wall. We've watched countless sunset drinks parties here, where guests drift between the wooden floors inside and the towpath just beyond our windows, champagne flutes catching the golden hour reflections off the water. This ground-floor space holds 30 for seated dining or 50 for standing receptions, with enough room for guests to move naturally between conversations without feeling cramped. The soft green and blue tones we've chosen mirror the river outside, while our collection of mismatched vintage chairs and tables gives each corner its own personality. During summer parties, we fold back those enormous windows completely, letting the Thames breeze carry in the sounds of passing boats and riverside chatter. Our events team arranges The Conservatory differently each week, sometimes setting long banquet tables for birthday dinners, other times creating clusters of high tables for corporate drinks receptions. The wooden floors have hosted everything from 50th anniversary celebrations to Christmas parties where colleagues finally relax after their busy December. Fresh flowers arrive twice weekly from our local florist, and we adjust the lighting throughout your event, from bright afternoon meetings to candlelit evening gatherings. The kitchen serves canapés directly to The Conservatory through our service corridor, meaning hot food arrives properly hot, and our bar staff keep drinks flowing without guests queuing. We're particularly proud of our seasonal cocktail menu, mixed with herbs grown in pots along our riverside terrace. Whether you're planning a reunion dinner watching rowers glide past at dusk or birthday drinks that spill onto the towpath, The Conservatory adapts to exactly what you need.
