Walking into the Bankside Ballroom feels like stepping onto a grand stage where your celebration is about to unfold. The 576 square meters of pillar-free space stretches before you, crowned by custom-designed chandeliers that cast a warm glow across the room. We've seen this versatile space transform from morning product launches for 600 guests to evening galas where 430 diners enjoy banquets beneath the soaring ceilings. The dark timber veneer walls create an intimate atmosphere despite the ballroom's impressive scale, while the neutral carpet and subtly patterned wall coverings mean your chosen colour scheme will take centre stage. Our events team particularly enjoys working with florists here, as the space beautifully showcases dramatic floral installations, from towering centrepieces to cascading arrangements that complement the chandeliers above. Guests arrive via our marble staircase with its brass handrails, creating that sense of anticipation as they descend into the main event space. The built-in audiovisual technology means we can quickly switch from a theatre-style presentation for 600 to an elegant banquet setup, or create a more relaxed cabaret arrangement for 270 guests enjoying entertainment with their meal. For wedding receptions, we often arrange the space with a dedicated dance floor area while maintaining comfortable circulation for your 700 cocktail guests.
