The moment you descend the stairs into our Wharfeside Bar, you're entering a space that feels like your own private pub beneath the cobbles of London Bridge. We've kept the best bits of this historic undercroft, the wooden furnishings that have aged beautifully, the old photographs and maps on the walls that tell stories of when tea clippers docked just outside, while adding everything you need for a proper celebration. Your guests arrive through their own private entrance, no awkward hellos with other diners, straight into a room where the bar takes centre stage. Our bartenders know their way around both a perfectly pulled pint and a complex cocktail, and with our license running until 11 PM, there's plenty of time to enjoy both. The soft lighting catches the gleam of glassware and creates exactly the right mood, whether you're toasting a milestone birthday or winding down after a successful product launch. We can arrange the space however works best, from 110 people mingling with drinks and canapés to 90 seated for a more formal dinner. Our kitchen sends down everything from sharing platters to three-course meals, proper pub classics done well alongside fine wines and real ales. The PA system handles background music or presentations equally well, and we've got a flatscreen TV and flipcharts ready if someone needs to show quarterly figures between courses. Being just minutes from London Bridge Station means your guests can easily find us, and once they're here, the Thames, Tower Bridge, and HMS Belfast provide the kind of backdrop that makes every event feel special. Yes, it's stairs only to reach us, but we promise the atmosphere down here makes it worth the descent.
