The Walcot room offers something genuinely different for your next board meeting or AGM. Those vibrant orange chairs you'll notice immediately aren't just for show, they actually help keep energy levels up during long strategy sessions, according to feedback from regular users. We've configured the space with a large U-shaped table that seats 22 comfortably for boardroom meetings, though we can reconfigure for up to 50 in theatre style when you need a larger presentation format. The black ceiling and walls might sound unusual, but they create remarkable focus during intensive discussions, while natural light streams in from our adjacent atrium, preventing that closed-in feeling many meeting rooms suffer from. Our built-in screen and AV equipment handle everything from PowerPoint presentations to video conferences, and the complimentary Wi-Fi reaches every corner reliably. We regularly host formal business presentations, corporate AGMs, and training sessions here. For classroom setups, we accommodate 27 delegates, while cabaret style works well for 30 when you want roundtable discussions with presentation capability. The striped carpet might catch your eye, but it's the practical details that make the difference. The atrium next door works perfectly for coffee breaks or informal networking between sessions. Bath Spa station sits just minutes away, making arrival straightforward for delegates coming from London or Bristol. The Roman Baths and Bath Abbey are equally close if anyone wants to explore during lunch. After your meeting, delegates often use our heated indoor pool or grab dinner at The Orange Artichoke restaurant.
