Our most requested space, the Elwin Room, transforms ordinary meetings into something rather special. Four magnificent Casali paintings span the ceiling above you - the same artwork that once watched over Lord Nelson at dinner here. Natural light floods through tall Georgian windows overlooking Queen Square, where Jane Austen used to take her morning walks. We've configured this room countless times for different groups. Theatre style fits 100 delegates comfortably, while boardroom setup seats 26 around our polished tables. For training sessions, we arrange classroom style for 60, or U-shape for 35 when discussion matters most. Banquet layout accommodates 50 for formal dinners, cabaret style works beautifully for 50 at workshops, and we can host 100 for standing receptions. The integrated PA system means your presentations carry clearly to every corner. Our large projector screen drops down when needed, and we provide both lapel and roving microphones alongside the lectern mic. The DVD player connects easily for video content. That Bentley piano in the corner? It's fully tuned and sees regular use during musical presentations and cultural events. Georgian elegance meets practical functionality here. Original cornicing frames modern AV connections, while period fireplaces sit alongside power outlets positioned exactly where you need them. We set up fresh tea and coffee before you arrive, arranging everything to your specifications. The Queen Square location works brilliantly for attendees. Bath Spa station sits ten minutes' walk away, buses stop right outside, and several car parks operate within a five-minute stroll. Between sessions, your delegates often wander the square's gardens or pop into the independent cafes dotting the surrounding streets. This combination of historic atmosphere, modern facilities, and central convenience makes the Elwin Room particularly effective for conferences, training days, board meetings, and academic symposiums.
