The Grand Ballroom crowns the top floor of our venue, where gilt cornicing catches the afternoon light streaming through tall windows. This is where Glasgow's merchant traders once gathered, and today their legacy lives on in the vaulted ceiling that creates remarkable acoustics for presentations and conferences. We regularly transform this space to match your meeting requirements. For company presentations, we arrange theatre-style seating for up to 100 delegates, ensuring clear sightlines to your speaker. The room's natural acoustics mean you won't struggle to hear from the back row. When you need a more collaborative atmosphere, we configure the space classroom-style for 70 participants with tables for note-taking, or U-shaped for 40 when discussion and interaction matter most. The original fireplace anchors one end of the room, providing a natural focal point for your presentations. During breaks, your private bar becomes the hub for coffee service and informal discussions. We've found this dedicated refreshment area keeps energy levels high throughout long training days or strategy sessions. For boardroom meetings, we can accommodate 40 executives around our tables, with the ornate surroundings lending gravitas to important decisions. The cabaret layout works particularly well for workshops, seating 80 people at round tables that encourage small group work while maintaining connection to the main presentation area. Our wireless broadband covers the entire ballroom, supporting whatever technology your meeting requires.
