Those original Victorian wall sconces cast a warm glow across the Forster Suite, where our plush blue chairs circle a polished table that's witnessed countless important conversations since the 1880s. This particular room showcases some of our venue's finest plasterwork, with intricate ceiling details that delegates often photograph during coffee breaks. We've arranged the space to accommodate your meetings in whatever format works best. Twenty colleagues fit comfortably around the boardroom table, while theatre-style presentations work brilliantly for up to 45 attendees. The heavy curtains in deep burgundy frame tall windows overlooking the historic quarter, and when drawn back, natural light floods across the traditional patterned carpet, illuminating every corner of your discussions. For training sessions, we configure sixteen desks classroom-style, each with clear sightlines to your presentation area. The high ceilings create excellent acoustics, so even soft-spoken presenters carry clearly to the back row. When arranged in a U-shape, also for sixteen participants, the layout encourages the kind of dynamic discussion that moves projects forward. The Forster Suite transforms beautifully for receptions too. Forty guests can mingle comfortably, wine glasses in hand, while the Victorian surroundings add gravitas to corporate celebrations or formal dinners.
