The Barbirolli Room stretches across our upper level, where floor-to-ceiling windows frame Manchester's skyline from every angle. Natural light pours through these expansive glass walls throughout the day, creating different moods as morning meetings transition into afternoon presentations or evening receptions. We've designed this space to transform effortlessly between configurations. The room accommodates 240 delegates in theatre style, with clear sightlines to your presenters and screens. For banquet events, we arrange tables for 170 guests, leaving generous space for movement between courses. Reception-style gatherings flow naturally here too, with capacity for 250 attendees who can mingle across both the main room and adjoining foyer area. The blue carpeting anchors the neutral palette, while high ceilings amplify the sense of space. A sleek metal staircase connects levels, adding architectural interest without dominating the room. Our technical team integrates audiovisual equipment seamlessly, supporting everything from PowerPoint presentations to panel discussions with multiple microphones. The grand piano in the corner hints at another possibility, we've hosted musical interludes during corporate dinners and jazz performances at cocktail receptions. The adjoining foyer works as both arrival space and breakout area. During conferences, delegates spill out here for coffee breaks, using the natural light and city views to recharge between sessions. The foyer also serves as pre-dinner drinks space when the main room is set for dining. Our venue sits adjacent to Manchester Piccadilly station, making arrival straightforward for attendees traveling from across the UK.
