The Sawmill combines the warmth of a private members' club with the functionality modern meetings demand. We've configured this room to adapt to your needs, whether that's 25 colleagues around the boardroom table for strategy sessions, 35 delegates in theatre style for presentations, or 30 guests enjoying a working lunch in banquet format. The U-shaped layout works particularly well for training days with up to 20 participants, while cocktail receptions can accommodate 50 for more informal networking. Our venue sits within York's ancient city walls, just a five-minute walk from York Station. The convenience extends beyond location, with on-site parking available for those driving in. During breaks, delegates often appreciate stepping into our courtyard gardens or grabbing coffee from our restaurant, which uses local Yorkshire suppliers for all catering.
