Our Suite 104 makes the most of its purple-accented walls and modern artwork to create a professional space that feels different from typical corporate meeting rooms. We've arranged 120 grey upholstered chairs with chrome frames in neat rows, though we regularly reconfigure the room depending on what works best for each booking - from 40 people around U-shaped tables for training workshops to 60 in classroom style for seminars. The ceiling-mounted lighting provides consistent illumination across the entire room, which matters when people are taking notes or working through detailed presentations. We've installed an LCD projector and screen that handle everything from PowerPoint slides to video conferences, supported by high-speed Wi-Fi that keeps pace when dozens of devices connect simultaneously. Multiple phone lines mean conference calls run without the frustration of dropped connections. Our conference executive stays involved throughout your booking, checking the technology works properly and adjusting the air conditioning to keep everyone comfortable. We stock the room with flipcharts, pens and paper, plus fresh fruit and sweets for those afternoon energy dips. The furniture moves easily on castors, so switching from theatre rows to cabaret tables takes minutes rather than causing delays. The 15-minute walk from Southampton Central Station brings most attendees straight to Charlotte Place in the city centre.
