Our Portmeirion room on the third floor catches the morning sun beautifully through its windows, filling the 35-square-metre space with natural light that keeps everyone alert during those crucial morning meetings. We've found this particular room works wonderfully for board meetings and strategy sessions where up to 12 people need to focus without distractions. The polished wooden table anchors the room, and we always have it set with fresh water, glasses and notepads before you arrive. Around it, we've arranged our most comfortable executive chairs, the kind that support you properly through those longer discussions. The LCD projector and screen are positioned so everyone can see clearly from their seat, and we keep a flipchart ready in the corner for those spontaneous brainstorming moments. What makes Portmeirion particularly effective is its atmosphere. At 35 square metres, it's spacious enough that no one feels cramped, yet intimate enough to encourage real conversation. The air conditioning keeps things comfortable year-round, and our Wi-Fi connects instantly, no fiddling with passwords or weak signals. Being on the third floor means you're away from the lobby bustle, giving your discussions the privacy they deserve. Many of our regular clients particularly appreciate how the natural daylight helps maintain energy levels throughout the day, something fluorescent meeting rooms simply can't match. We're about 15 minutes' walk from Cardiff Central station, making it straightforward for attendees coming from London, Birmingham or Manchester. The Principality Stadium and Cardiff Castle are both nearby if anyone wants to explore after your meeting wraps up. Our location in central Cardiff means there are plenty of lunch options within walking distance too, though our own Urban Bar & Kitchen remains a popular choice for working lunches between sessions.
