The Small Classroom offers a practical workspace where focus comes naturally. With room for up to 39 participants in classroom configuration, or fewer in boardroom, horseshoe and cabaret arrangements, we've created a space that adapts to your meeting's dynamics. Natural light pours through the windows throughout the day, keeping energy levels high during long sessions. Our built-in AV setup includes projector, screen and speakers ready for immediate use, while reliable WiFi keeps everyone connected. Tables and chairs move easily when you need to shift from presentation mode to group work, and the compact dimensions actually work in your favour, creating an atmosphere where every participant stays engaged. Access couldn't be simpler, with our East Road campus location putting you right in central Cambridge. Public transport drops delegates practically at our door, and we've ensured full wheelchair accessibility with lift access to all floors. The room works beautifully as a standalone meeting space or as a breakout area when you're running larger conferences elsewhere on campus. Our in-house catering team provides everything from working lunches to coffee breaks, with diverse menu options available. The adjacent foyer gives you extra space for arrivals and networking between sessions. Reception staff handle the practical details, and our previous guests particularly appreciate the hands-on support, with team members like Eliza regularly praised for helping with technical setups and ensuring everything runs smoothly. Eliza at ARU was so helpful upon my arrival and helping me to set up the laptop. I would definitely recommend the use of their facilities going forward and thanks to Zipcube for their extensive promotion of the venue, or our charity would have been unaware of the rooms...
