The Woodlands Ballroom offers a proper conference space that adapts brilliantly to different meeting formats. Our largest room handles up to 170 delegates theatre-style, with the flexibility to divide the space when you need concurrent sessions or smaller group work. The room's sprung dance floor might seem an odd feature for a meeting space, but delegates appreciate the extra comfort underfoot during long conference days. Natural light streams through the windows, keeping everyone alert without harsh fluorescent glare, and our PA system ensures crystal-clear audio whether you're presenting to 20 or 200. We've arranged the space with long banquet tables dressed in crisp white linens, though we regularly reconfigure to classroom style for 80, U-shape for 50, or clear the floor entirely for networking receptions. The self-contained bar area works perfectly for refreshment breaks, meaning your delegates won't lose momentum trekking to another part of the building. Practical touches make a difference here. The dedicated cloakroom keeps the space uncluttered, particularly useful during winter months when everyone arrives bundled in coats. Having toilet facilities directly accessible from the ballroom maintains privacy for your group and minimises disruption during sessions. The room divides cleanly into two separate areas, each maintaining good acoustics and lighting. This works particularly well for training days where you might run presentations in one half whilst the other hosts workshop activities. We position tall floral arrangements to mark natural boundaries without blocking sightlines. Our position outside Broughty Ferry means your team arrives refreshed rather than frazzled from city traffic. The mature gardens visible through the windows provide a calming backdrop that helps maintain focus, whilst ample parking right outside eliminates the usual pre-meeting stress of finding spaces.
