The brick vaults beneath our venue create an extraordinary backdrop for focused business discussions. This particular room, Marx, brings eight people together around a polished wooden table in what was once part of this 1812 warehouse's original storage system. Cool air circulates naturally through the curved brick ceiling overhead, keeping conversations sharp even during lengthy strategy sessions. We've positioned a wall-mounted television with Airplay connectivity at the perfect height for presentations, allowing you to share documents and data without everyone crowding around a laptop. The comfortable chairs encourage people to settle in properly, whether you're working through quarterly projections or interviewing potential partners. Our technical team ensures the WiFi runs smoothly throughout these historic walls, so video calls with remote colleagues remain stable. The exposed brickwork creates surprisingly good acoustics, containing discussions within the room while the solid construction blocks out activity from neighbouring spaces. We find teams particularly appreciate this privacy when handling sensitive negotiations or confidential planning. The room sits within our network of restored vaults, each maintaining its original architectural features while accommodating modern business needs. Natural light filters through from the main venue spaces above, though the integrated lighting system provides consistent illumination for note-taking and screen viewing. Temperature controls keep the space comfortable year-round, despite being underground. Access comes via our main reception, with both Wapping and Shadwell stations just a short walk away.
