The Orangery and South Parlour sit on the first floor of our venue, where afternoon sun streams through tall windows overlooking Greenwich Park. These interconnected rooms have watched over the park for centuries, their walls hung with maritime paintings that tell stories of Britain's seafaring past. We've preserved the original wooden floors that creak gently underfoot, polished to a warm honey glow that catches the light. The high ceilings give your meetings room to breathe, while the period fireplace in the South Parlour adds character without overwhelming the space. Between presentations, your guests can gaze out at the Royal Observatory perched on the hill, a view that never fails to spark conversation. The flexible layout works beautifully for different meeting styles. We can arrange boardroom seating for 20 in each parlour, perfect for focused discussions. Theatre style accommodates up to 40 delegates when you need everyone facing forward, whilst cabaret arrangement seats 25 comfortably for workshops or training sessions. The Orangery that connects both parlours becomes invaluable for coffee breaks or when you need separate syndicate rooms. Natural daylight fills these rooms throughout the day, reducing the need for artificial lighting and keeping energy levels high during long sessions. The classical paintings provide talking points during networking moments, each one carefully chosen from our maritime collection. When you book both parlours together, the Orangery transforms the space into one flowing venue that can handle larger groups or multiple activities simultaneously.
