This ground-floor meeting space combines Victorian character with everything modern business needs, accommodating up to 35 delegates in theatre style, 20 for cabaret arrangements, or 18 in classroom configuration. Natural light pours through the windows, illuminating the room's thoughtful design, where neutral tones meet refreshing green accents in both the décor and seating. We've positioned this versatile space within the Coach House, giving it a sense of privacy that many of our corporate clients particularly value. The self-contained nature of the Darwin Room, complete with its own entrance, bathroom, and kitchenette, means your team can focus entirely on the task at hand without interruption. Our technical setup includes a deluxe presentation screen, flip charts, and whiteboard, while hearing loops ensure everyone can participate fully in discussions. The room's flexibility shines through in how easily we can reconfigure the layout, whether you need U-shaped seating for collaborative workshops, boardroom style for strategic planning, or theatre arrangement for larger presentations. The kitchenette proves particularly useful for all-day sessions, allowing you to manage refreshments on your own schedule. Many groups bring their own catering, though we're happy to recommend external caterers familiar with our facilities. For evening events, you're welcome to bring your own alcohol with a corkage fee arrangement.
