The Ralph Knott room takes its name from the architect who designed our magnificent County Hall building, and stepping inside, you immediately understand why we're proud of this heritage. Rich wood panelling wraps around the walls, creating an atmosphere that feels both distinguished and welcoming, while large windows flood the space with natural light throughout the day. We've carefully preserved the room's historic character while ensuring it meets every modern business need. The elegant central table seats 14 comfortably for boardroom discussions, though we regularly reconfigure the space for different purposes. For presentations, we can accommodate 24 delegates in theatre style, or 16 in classroom layout when note-taking is essential. The U-shaped configuration works particularly well for training sessions with up to 15 participants, while cabaret style suits collaborative workshops for 16. Our AV equipment integrates seamlessly with the period features, and high-speed Wi-Fi keeps everyone connected. Air conditioning maintains comfort year-round, particularly appreciated during summer meetings when the sunlight streams through those generous windows. The wood-panelled walls provide excellent acoustics, making this room particularly effective for confidential discussions or focused strategy sessions. Just moments from Westminster Bridge, delegates reach us easily from Waterloo station. Many appreciate being able to grab coffee beforehand along the South Bank, arriving energised and ready to work. During breaks, the proximity to the Thames offers a refreshing change of scenery. We handle all catering requirements in-house, from working lunches to formal dining experiences. Our kitchen accommodates dietary needs including halal, kosher, vegan and gluten-free options. For smaller corporate gatherings requiring overnight stays, our venue provides luxurious accommodation, allowing your team to continue discussions over dinner at Gillray's Steakhouse or unwind in our 25-meter pool.
