We've designed this 54-square-metre space to flex around your needs, whether you're running a training programme for 24 in classroom style or hosting a presentation for up to 48 delegates in theatre format. Natural light fills the room through generous windows, keeping energy levels high during those intensive afternoon sessions. We control the temperature year-round with both air conditioning and natural ventilation, so your team stays comfortable regardless of Manchester's unpredictable weather. The soft grey walls and professional carpeting create a focused environment without feeling sterile. Our technical setup handles most requirements straight away. The wall-mounted projector connects seamlessly to your devices, while the projection screen at the front ensures everyone gets a clear view of your content. We keep flipcharts stocked with fresh pads and pens for those brainstorming moments, and our complimentary Wi-Fi reaches every corner reliably. When you need additional AV equipment, our technical team sources and sets up whatever your presentation demands. The room transforms quickly between configurations. We arrange boardroom seating for 30 when you need everyone around one table, create U-shaped layouts for 26 during interactive workshops, or set up banquet style for 36 when combining meetings with working lunches. Ground floor access means no lifts or stairs for attendees carrying equipment or using wheelchairs. Many groups use Seminar Room 5 as their breakout space during larger conferences in our main auditorium. The proximity allows smooth transitions between plenary sessions and smaller group work.
