Our Langdale Suite sits on the first floor, where skylights and floor-to-ceiling windows flood the space with natural light throughout the day. The windows frame views of the traditional church next door, creating a peaceful backdrop that helps delegates stay focused and engaged during long sessions. The square layout gives us real flexibility in how we arrange the room. We regularly transform it from theatre-style seating for 50 delegates into cabaret rounds for 30, or clear the centre for physical training exercises. Corporate teams particularly appreciate this adaptability when they need both presentation space and breakout areas within the same room. The natural light makes it popular for expo displays too, where products and materials show their true colours under the skylights. Round tables draped in black cloth provide professional workspace, while comfortable seating ensures delegates stay attentive through full-day sessions. We've noticed how the bright, airy atmosphere keeps energy levels high, especially during afternoon workshops when other venues might feel stuffy. Access is via stairs to the first floor.
