The Beveridge Room honours Lord Beveridge, our former Society president, with a purposeful meeting space that works brilliantly for focused discussions. Down in the basement, away from street-level distractions, this room has become a favourite for board meetings and training sessions where concentration matters. We've arranged the space around a generous oval table that seats 12 comfortably in boardroom style, though we can reconfigure for theatre-style presentations accommodating up to 32 delegates. The upholstered chairs encourage those longer strategy sessions, while the professional atmosphere keeps everyone engaged. A large flat screen dominates one wall for clear presentations, and we keep a flip chart ready for when ideas need capturing quickly. The blue carpeting adds warmth to the neutral walls, creating a calm environment that helps teams stay productive throughout the day. Being next to our refreshment area proves particularly convenient - your group can grab coffee or tea during breaks without navigating multiple floors.
