The Charles Dickens room occupies the entire second floor of our venue, where morning light streams through the wall of windows that run along one side. We've hosted everything from 10-person board meetings to 60-delegate conferences in this adaptable space, and the natural brightness keeps energy levels high throughout day-long sessions. Our technical setup includes an interactive smart screen with built-in PC and touchscreen capabilities, so presenters can annotate directly on their slides while connecting to Teams or Zoom calls. The wheeled chairs and modular tables mean we can transform the room from theatre layout to U-shape configuration in under 15 minutes between sessions. Many groups appreciate having both the digital whiteboard and traditional flipboard available, particularly during brainstorming workshops. With capacity for 60 in theatre style, 33 around boardroom tables, or 42 in cabaret format, we've found the space works particularly well for training sessions and team workshops. The air conditioning maintains comfortable temperatures even when the room reaches full capacity, and our high-speed Wi-Fi handles everyone's devices without dropping connections. Our reception team sets up the room exactly to your specifications before arrival and remains available throughout your booking for any adjustments. We coordinate catering for various dietary requirements, handle printing needs, and can quickly reconfigure furniture layouts during breaks. Nice large space, exactly what we needed. Plenty of chairs and tables that could be moved and reconfigured easily throughout the afternoon.

the venue was easy to find. the room was set out exactly as requested; great AV. the staff on reception were incredibly helpful and responsive to all our requests. Food good too! would recommend to anyone.

good space, excellent IT/AV tech, no fuss, very helpful staff on reception (and for AV queries, and quiet space asks), tasty catering - easy location in central London.
