Our Dining Room takes full advantage of the Georgian grandeur that runs throughout this Grade I listed building. High ceilings create an impressive sense of space, while the original fireplace and ornate mirrors remind you that you're meeting somewhere with genuine character, not just another conference facility. Natural light pours through the tall windows, where heavy curtains frame views across Leicester city centre. The rich blue carpet and patterned chairs work beautifully with the period features, creating a professional yet comfortable atmosphere for your meetings and presentations. We've found the acoustics particularly effective for speakers, something that becomes apparent the moment someone begins presenting. The room adapts remarkably well to different setups. We can arrange theatre seating for 80 delegates, perfect for presentations and seminars. For board meetings, we create an intimate setting for 20 around our polished tables. The U-shaped configuration works wonderfully for training sessions with 25 participants, while the cabaret layout for 32 encourages group discussions and workshops. When we set up for banquets, 60 guests can dine comfortably, though most of our meeting clients prefer the working lunch options our catering team provides. Technical requirements are covered with our LCD projector, screen, and lectern already in place. The free WiFi handles multiple devices without issue, essential for modern business meetings. What often surprises guests is the adjacent bar area, which we open as a private space for coffee breaks and informal networking between sessions. Being right in Leicester's centre means delegates arriving by train can walk here in minutes. The main car parks are equally close for those driving.
