The Sheldonian Room catches the morning sun beautifully through its expansive windows, creating the kind of bright workspace that keeps everyone engaged during those crucial strategy sessions. We've arranged this boardroom-style space around a central table that seats 10 delegates comfortably, with grey chairs that actually support you through those longer meetings. You'll notice the contemporary abstract painting on the wall, a splash of colour against our neutral palette that seems to spark creative thinking without being distracting. The room comes fully equipped with everything you need for productive sessions: flatscreen TV for presentations, whiteboard and flipchart for brainstorming, plus conference call facilities that connect clearly every time. Natural light floods the space throughout the day, though we have adjustable lighting for when you need to focus on screen presentations. Our venue sits just up from Summertown High Street, about 10 minutes from central Oxford, which puts you near plenty of lunch spots and coffee shops when you need a break. The surrounding area offers numerous options for continuing discussions over dinner or drinks after your formal meetings conclude. We understand that different meetings have different rhythms, so you can book the Sheldonian for a few hours or full days as your project requires. The space works equally well for board meetings, client presentations, team workshops, or training sessions. Our flexible approach means you can structure your day however suits your agenda best. Previous guests have appreciated our straightforward check-in process and the independence to run meetings without interruption. While some have noted they needed to ask for WiFi details, we're working to ensure all essential information is readily available in the room.
