Six local beer enthusiasts transformed a former solicitor's office into our micropub in June 2022, and the upstairs room has become one of those rare meeting spaces that actually feels comfortable. The mustard-yellow walls display rotating artwork from local artists, while large windows flood the space with natural light overlooking Lewisham Way below. We configure the room however works best for your meeting. The plush green chairs and wooden tables accommodate 20 people in boardroom style or 30 in theatre arrangement. For workshops, we often set up separate table groups, while strategy sessions might call for one long table down the centre. The flexibility means your team can move furniture around during breaks if the discussion takes a different direction. Our AV setup keeps things simple but effective. Plug your laptop straight into our presentation system, and the ceiling speakers connect via Bluetooth for any audio needs. The vintage furniture and bookshelves filled with local history create talking points during coffee breaks, while framed maps on the walls have sparked many conversations about neighbourhood changes. What makes our venue particularly appealing for team days is the natural flow from morning meetings to afternoon socialising. Your group has exclusive use until 5pm, and when we open the micropub downstairs at 3pm, grabbing a pint becomes remarkably convenient. We rotate cask and keg beers from independent breweries, with pints starting at £3.80. Yard Sale Pizza delivers free from 4pm, and yes, we stock what some consider an excessive crisp collection, including SLABS. The room regularly hosts book clubs, art exhibitions and open mic nights when not booked for meetings. Dogs are welcome throughout, and our small outdoor area, affectionately dubbed the A20 Lounge, offers fresh air between sessions. Transport links are straightforward, with several bus routes along Lewisham Way connecting to major stations.
