The Play Room combines the practical needs of business meetings with ping pong tables that spark conversation between sessions. Walking past Old Street Station and into our venue, you'll find this self-contained space ready for groups of up to 100 standing or 70 seated theatre-style, with 28 spots around the boardroom table for more focused discussions. Three ping pong tables anchor the room, including our Interactive Ping Pong X with its smart tracking technology, while UV lighting and iridescent artwork shift the mood from professional presentations to after-hours networking. The private cocktail bar runs along one wall, where our bartender prepares drinks throughout your event, with Italian-inspired dishes and dietary options arriving fresh from our kitchen. We've installed a large projector screen with LCD displays for presentations, plus a PA system that handles everything from microphone speeches to background music. The plug-and-play iPod dock and DJ connections mean transitioning from conference to celebration happens in minutes. Our dedicated events coordinator manages these technical switches while you focus on your guests. Corporate groups often book morning strategy sessions followed by ping pong tournaments over lunch, while others run training workshops that break into competitive team challenges. The space works equally well for product launches where demonstrations happen alongside networking, or milestone celebrations that need presentation capabilities before the party begins.
