Our conference room occupies a quiet corner of the building, away from the main hall's energetic activities. The space comfortably fits 25 people in a reception layout, making it just right for those NHS blood donation briefings we regularly host or when local charities gather to plan their next community project. Wooden panels run along one wall, warming up the neutral palette and creating a professional backdrop for video calls. We've kept the décor deliberately simple, knowing that different groups bring their own materials and presentations. The stackable chairs mean you can arrange the room however works best, whether that's theatre-style rows for a training session or a circle for more collaborative discussions. Natural light streams through the high windows throughout the day, reducing the need for artificial lighting during morning meetings. The wireless internet reaches every corner, so remote participants can join seamlessly when needed. We've noticed many regular hirers appreciate this straightforward setup, particularly the small businesses who use the space for team meetings away from their usual offices. The room sits separately from our main hall, ensuring privacy and minimal noise disruption. This matters when you're conducting interviews or running focused workshops. Our regular users include local health services running training sessions, community groups planning events, and professionals who need a proper meeting space without the coffee shop distractions. Being on India Way means excellent transport connections, with several bus routes stopping nearby. We're open Monday to Friday from 9:30 am to 8:00 pm, though we can arrange earlier or later access when groups need it. Saturday bookings work too with advance notice. The room comes ready to use, with heating that actually works and cleaning included in your booking.
