This lower ground floor space forms part of our larger St David's Suite, with a soundproof dividing wall that creates genuine privacy when you need focused discussion time. Natural light pours through the floor-to-ceiling windows, keeping energy levels up even during full-day sessions. We've arranged blue upholstered chairs around tables that shift easily between configurations, whether you're planning a boardroom discussion for 28 or theatre-style presentations for up to 100 delegates. The neutral walls and carpeting create a calm backdrop that won't distract from your content. Our AV setup includes a projector and screen positioned for clear sightlines from every seat. The complimentary Wi-Fi reaches full strength throughout the room, so remote participants can join seamlessly and attendees can access cloud-based materials without interruption. Air conditioning keeps the temperature comfortable year-round, particularly appreciated during those intense brainstorming sessions. The flexibility here suits various formats. We regularly host corporate conferences in theatre layout, switch to cabaret rounds for 40 during interactive workshops, and arrange U-shaped setups for training programmes. Team-building exercises work particularly well with the space opened up, while strategy sessions benefit from the more intimate boardroom arrangement. Please note that access to St David's One is via stairs only, as the lower ground floor location doesn't connect to our lift system. This consideration aside, the room integrates smoothly with our other facilities. Coffee breaks happen just outside the door, lunch service flows efficiently from our kitchen, and your delegates can use the fitness centre during longer events. Being just three miles from Cardiff centre with direct M4 access means participants arrive fresh rather than frazzled from city traffic.
