The Kidwelly Room offers a bright corner space on one of our upper floors, where Cardiff's cityscape creates an ever-changing backdrop through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Red upholstered chairs add warmth to the neutral palette, while natural light floods across the plush carpeting throughout the day. We've configured this room to work brilliantly for groups of 16 to 40, depending on your preferred layout. The boardroom setup seats 18 comfortably around the central table, perfect for focused discussions and decision-making sessions. For training days, our classroom arrangement accommodates 16 with proper desk space for laptops and materials. When you need theatre-style seating for presentations, we can fit 40 delegates, while the U-shape configuration works well for 18 participants who need to see both the presenter and each other clearly. Our AV setup includes a ceiling-mounted projector and retractable screen, positioned for optimal viewing from every seat. The room's acoustic design means conversations stay crisp and clear, whether you're presenting quarterly figures or running an interactive workshop. Power points are strategically placed around the perimeter, so nobody's fighting over charging spots during those longer sessions. The windows run along two walls, giving you control over the ambiance, we provide adjustable blinds when you need to darken the space for presentations or simply want to minimize distractions. Between sessions, your delegates can stretch their legs in the corridor or pop down to our Urban Bar & Kitchen for refreshments. Cardiff Central station sits just 15 minutes away on foot, making this an easy spot for teams traveling from London, Birmingham or Bristol. The Principality Stadium and Cardiff Castle are equally close, useful landmarks when directing taxi drivers or explaining the location to first-time visitors.
