Walking into the Orpen Boardroom feels like stepping into a piece of history. The deep burgundy walls showcase original paintings by William Orpen, the celebrated First World War artist, whose works transform this Georgian room into something far more meaningful than a typical meeting space. Natural light pours through tall windows dressed in heavy curtains, illuminating the polished wooden table that runs the length of the room. Above, an ornate chandelier catches the light, while the high ceilings give the space a sense of occasion that works equally well for board meetings or small receptions. We've configured this room countless ways over the years. For traditional boardroom meetings, we seat 24 around the central table, where the artwork provides natural talking points during breaks. When clients need presentation space, we can accommodate 50 in theatre style, with clear sightlines to the front. For networking events or drinks receptions, the room comfortably holds 70 guests, with enough space for conversation without feeling crowded. The Georgian proportions make acoustics particularly good here, voices carry clearly without echo, which our corporate clients especially appreciate during presentations. The paintings create an atmosphere that encourages thoughtful discussion, whether you're hosting a strategy session, lecture, or product launch.
