The striking blue beams overhead immediately draw your eye when you enter our Lecture Theatre, a signature feature of this Victorian space that we've preserved alongside modern meeting technology. With capacity for 120 delegates in theatre style, this is where we host our most significant conferences, training programmes and seminars throughout the year. Natural light streams through the tall windows that line the walls, creating an energising environment for full-day sessions. We've found this brightness particularly valuable during intensive workshops, where attendees appreciate the connection to the outside world rather than feeling confined in a windowless conference room. The high ceilings give presentations room to breathe, while our Bose sound system ensures every word reaches the back row with clarity. Our technical setup reflects how presentations actually happen today. The Barco Clickshare system means presenters simply plug in and start sharing, no hunting for the right cable or waiting for IT support. The PA system handles everything from panel discussions to Q&A sessions, with Sennheiser microphones picking up every contribution. For hybrid meetings, our dedicated ethernet and dual-band WiFi keep remote participants connected without dropouts. The room transforms remarkably well between configurations. We regularly shift from theatre seating in the morning to cabaret rounds for afternoon workshops, accommodating 60 guests who need table space for materials. The moveable stage and lectern adapt to different speaking styles, whether that's formal presentations or interactive training sessions. For evening receptions or award dinners, the banquet layout seats 60 comfortably, with Lodge Catering managing the service seamlessly around your programme. You'll find us easily accessible from Old Street, Barbican and Moorgate stations, each about a 10-minute walk. Liverpool Street station offers mainline connections for delegates travelling from further afield. The ground-floor location provides step-free access to this particular space.
