Around the polished wooden table, natural light streams through large windows overlooking the Westminster streetscape, creating an atmosphere that feels both professional and surprisingly calm for central London. We've found this room works particularly well for interview panels, where the boardroom setup allows everyone to engage naturally. The blue upholstered chairs provide comfort during longer sessions, while the intimate scale means no one struggles to hear across the table. Many HR teams book this space specifically for final-stage interviews, appreciating how the traditional wood paneling and period details help put candidates at ease while maintaining a professional environment. The room's versatility extends beyond interviews. Strategy sessions benefit from the focused atmosphere, and we often see leadership teams using the space for sensitive discussions that require privacy. When larger conferences take place in our Conference Hall, groups frequently reserve the Malala Room as a speakers' green room or for breakout discussions that need a quieter setting. Power outlets are positioned conveniently for laptops, the Wi-Fi signal remains strong despite the historic walls, and the windows open when you need fresh air during intensive working sessions.
