The Pankhurst Room sits on the second floor of our Grade II listed building, where original features meet everything your modern meeting needs. Named after Manchester's most famous suffragette, this space carries forward a legacy of meaningful conversations and decisive action. Walk through the door and you'll find 14 comfortable black chairs arranged around our white oval boardroom table, perfectly positioned to catch the natural light that floods through the large windows. The light transforms throughout the day, keeping your team alert during morning strategy sessions and creating a warmer atmosphere for afternoon discussions. We've kept the décor purposefully minimal, with neutral tones that help maintain focus while modern lighting fixtures add just the right amount of sophistication. Our tech setup includes everything you'd expect: high-speed Wi-Fi that actually works when all 14 laptops are connected, a reliable projector for your presentations, and a flipchart for those spontaneous brainstorming moments. We maintain comfortable temperatures year-round with individual room controls, because we know productivity drops when people are too hot or cold. Between agenda items, your team can refuel with unlimited tea and coffee sourced from local Manchester suppliers. Our concierge team remains on hand from 8:30 am to 5 pm, whether you need extra markers for the flipchart or help connecting to the projector. We were really happy with the room, as we have been previously - you always get a personal service from the team and our training delegates all rated the facilities highly. Would certainly book again if we have further workshops in Manchester.
