Our largest conference space, the Lyons Suite, anchors the ground floor of our Academy conference centre with room for up to 200 delegates. Round tables dressed in white linens fill the space, each surrounded by comfortable blue chairs that keep your attendees focused through long sessions. We can reconfigure the entire room based on your needs, switching from banquet rounds to theatre rows or a boardroom setup depending on your agenda. The projection screen dominates the front wall, backed by presentation equipment that actually works when you need it. Wooden paneling frames the presentation area, giving the room a professional finish without feeling stuffy. Overhead lighting keeps everything bright enough for note-taking, while the neutral colour scheme means your branded materials and presentations take centre stage, not our décor. For larger conferences, the dedicated reception desk outside handles registration while your main session runs uninterrupted. Our meeting host manages the technical details, room changes, and catering coordination, leaving you free to focus on your content and delegates. The ground floor location means easy access for everyone, including those with mobility requirements or heavy presentation materials. We regularly host everything from company-wide training days to industry conferences here. The space works equally well for formal presentations to 160 in theatre style or interactive workshops with 68 around the boardroom table. Coffee stations can be positioned inside or in the adjacent foyer, depending on your preference for networking breaks. The suite connects directly to our other meeting rooms, allowing for breakout sessions or exhibition space alongside your main event. With 158 bedrooms upstairs and our Open Lobby restaurant serving from early morning, multi-day conferences run smoothly without delegates having to venture off-site between sessions.
