The polished wooden floors in our Blue Lounge catch the morning light streaming through the large bay window, creating a warm atmosphere that sets the tone for productive meetings. This Victorian room has become one of our most versatile spaces, with original cornicing and a period chandelier that add character without overwhelming the contemporary needs of business gatherings. We've arranged the space to accommodate different meeting styles comfortably. For boardroom discussions, we can seat 22 colleagues around our central table, while theatre-style presentations work beautifully for up to 50 attendees. The bay window overlooking our walled garden provides a natural focal point and welcome break for the eyes during longer sessions. When we set up for banquet-style meetings or working lunches, 30 guests can collaborate comfortably with proper table space for laptops and materials. The original fireplace anchors one end of the room, creating an interesting backdrop for speakers or video calls. We find the combination of period features and modern functionality helps maintain engagement throughout the day. The ground floor location makes access straightforward, and when you need additional space, double doors connect directly to our Boardroom, allowing flexibility for breakout sessions or larger corporate events. Our venue sits in Didsbury Village, making it convenient for Manchester-based teams and those travelling from further afield. The city centre and airport are both 15 minutes away, with excellent transport connections nearby. Free parking removes one more concern from your day's planning. The Blue Lounge works particularly well for strategy sessions, training days, board meetings and presentations where you need a professional environment that doesn't feel corporate or sterile.
