We've found this particular meeting space works brilliantly for everything from board meetings to training workshops, with its generous proportions allowing groups to spread out comfortably without feeling lost in the space. The room sits in our main hotel building, where original Victorian features blend naturally with the practical needs of modern meetings. Those high ceilings do more than just look impressive, they create an airy atmosphere that keeps delegates alert through long sessions. We can arrange the space to suit your needs: boardroom style fits 30 comfortably around the central table, classroom layout works for 20 with proper writing space, or we can set theatre style for presentations to 50 people. The U-shape configuration seats 20 and proves popular for interactive training, while cabaret style accommodates 21 for more informal workshop sessions. Natural light pours through the large windows throughout the day, though we've installed adjustable lighting for when presentations require a darker environment. The AV equipment handles everything from simple PowerPoint displays to video conferencing, and yes, the Wi-Fi actually maintains its speed even with everyone connected. We've positioned power points thoughtfully around the room so laptops stay charged without trailing cables everywhere. I would recommend the Belmont Leicester as a meeting venue, its a charming hotel with excellent facilities and lovely staff. the room was perfect and very good value.
