We chose mahogany tables for the York Room because they reflect the Victorian heritage of our building while creating the right atmosphere for serious discussions. This first-floor meeting space forms part of our Royal Suite, where original architectural details meet modern business needs. The room's rich green walls and dark drapes frame tall windows that flood the space with natural light throughout the day. Our clients often comment on how the fine chandeliers overhead add character without feeling overwhelming in this intimate setting. With boardroom seating for 14, we find the York works particularly well for executive meetings, strategic planning sessions, and small training workshops where conversation flows naturally around the table. We've equipped the space with everything you need for productive meetings: air conditioning keeps everyone comfortable year-round, while our audio equipment, Wi-Fi, and TV/projector setup handle any presentation requirements.
