Our ground floor Ebor Suite welcomes up to 100 delegates through its doors each day, with natural light streaming through large windows that overlook the racecourse grounds. At 95.33 square metres, this is our largest meeting space, giving your team plenty of room to spread out and get comfortable during those full-day sessions. We've furnished the room with plush blue chairs that your attendees actually want to sit in for hours, not the typical conference furniture that leaves everyone shifting uncomfortably by lunchtime. The warm wooden panelling and patterned carpet create a professional atmosphere without feeling cold or corporate. That projector mounted on the ceiling connects easily to laptops, while our flip charts and markers sit ready for brainstorming sessions. The flexibility here works brilliantly for different meeting styles. We can arrange the room as a boardroom for 55 people when you need everyone around the table, or switch to classroom layout for 50 delegates taking notes. The U-shape configuration fits 40 comfortably and encourages discussion, while reception-style setups accommodate 90 for networking events. For presentations and lectures, theatre-style seating holds our full capacity of 100. Being less than two miles from York city centre means your delegates can catch a quick train from York Station, or drive straight here via the A64 with free parking waiting for them. The air conditioning keeps everyone comfortable year-round, particularly appreciated during summer strategy sessions or packed winter conferences. Our housekeeping team prepares the room fresh each morning, ensuring your flip charts have fresh paper and markers work properly.
