The Charter Room sits on our upper floor, where twelve people can gather around a handcrafted round table for conversations that matter. Through the large windows, you'll watch seasons change in our private garden while daylight fills the wood-panelled walls, each panel restored during recent renovations. We've positioned vintage portraits throughout the room, their subjects having witnessed centuries of London business deals and diplomatic discussions. The space works particularly well for board meetings where focus is essential, strategy sessions that need privacy, or working lunches where the garden views provide natural breaks in intense discussions. Our team ensures the modern necessities blend seamlessly with the historical setting. The flatscreen TV connects easily to laptops for presentations, while air conditioning keeps everyone comfortable during summer negotiations. Wi-Fi runs reliably throughout, though we find the garden view often proves more captivating than email notifications. For working meals, our kitchen prepares everything from coffee and pastries to three-course lunches, served directly in the room to maintain privacy. The round table arrangement means everyone sits as equals, no head of table politics here, which our regular clients tell us changes the dynamic of their meetings entirely. St. Paul's Station is a three-minute walk, making the Charter Room accessible for participants coming from different offices across London.
