The Mound provides a focused setting for teams of up to six people who need to get down to business. We've furnished this boardroom with a substantial rectangular table and comfortable black chairs that keep everyone at the right height for productive discussions. The room catches your attention with its distinctive blue accent wall, which adds depth without being distracting. We find the colour actually helps people concentrate during longer sessions. The other walls remain crisp white, and with our overhead lighting system, you'll have consistent brightness throughout your meeting, perfect for reviewing documents or taking detailed notes. For presentations, we've mounted a screen on the wall that's visible from every seat around the table. The positioning means nobody has to crane their neck or shift their chair to see what's being shared. We also provide traditional tools like flipcharts, whiteboards and markers for those who prefer to sketch out ideas as they talk. Privacy is built into the design here. Without external windows, confidential discussions stay confidential, and you won't have street noise or passing distractions breaking your flow. The air conditioning keeps the temperature comfortable whether you're in for a quick morning briefing or an afternoon strategy session. Getting to our venue couldn't be simpler. We're right on Princes Street with Waverley station just minutes away on foot. Trams and buses stop practically outside, and we have our own car park for those driving in. The whole building has disabled access, including lifts to all floors. The Mound works particularly well for client meetings, team planning sessions, interviews, or any situation where six people need to focus without interruption. Our team manages the booking and setup, so you can walk straight in and start your meeting.
