The Bacchus Room has been hosting board meetings and strategy sessions since our Georgian building opened its doors. Walk into this first-floor space and you'll immediately notice the Roman god Bacchus painted across the ceiling, watching over your discussions with what some guests call an encouraging smile. Natural light pours through the tall windows, illuminating the room's original architectural details, from the intricate ceiling moldings to the period features we've carefully preserved. The high ceilings create an airy feel that helps conversations flow naturally, while the soft neutral walls provide a calming backdrop for focused work. We've furnished the room with a substantial wooden table that seats 12 comfortably in boardroom style, though we can reconfigure for U-shaped layouts or clear the space entirely for 30-person receptions. Each seat has good sightlines to the wall-mounted TV screen, and we've positioned the conference phone centrally so remote participants feel part of the conversation. The 100 Mbps broadband handles video calls smoothly, and our tech support team sits just downstairs if you need assistance. We offer various catering packages, from continental breakfasts to hot lunches, or you're welcome to bring in your own caterers. The building lift provides wheelchair access to this first-floor room. You'll find us tucked between Covent Garden and Charing Cross stations, both about a five-minute walk away. The surrounding streets offer plenty of lunch spots and coffee shops for pre-meeting preparations or post-session debriefs. Previous groups have particularly appreciated the room's character, telling us it provides a refreshing alternative to standard corporate spaces. The combination of period features and modern technology seems to strike the right balance for productive meetings that people actually remember.

Great space for our team meeting, very central location and well laid out with a TV and large table.

The room was very difficult to locate, there was no-one on reception to welcome guests. Guests got lost and we were provided with a small glass water dispenser for 20 people. No-one was available to replenish water and we we went without for 3 hours.
