The MacNiece Room combines contemporary design with practical functionality, creating an environment where productive conversations naturally unfold. Named after Irish poet and playwright Louis MacNeice, who once lectured in Classics at the University of Birmingham, this space carries forward a tradition of thoughtful discourse and intellectual exchange. We've designed this room to accommodate various meeting formats, with capacity for up to 45 delegates in theatre style. The flexible layout works equally well for boardroom discussions around our sleek oval table, collaborative workshops in cabaret style for 20, or U-shaped arrangements for 16 participants. This adaptability means your strategy session, training workshop, or team briefing can be configured exactly as you envision it. The room features a large TV screen positioned for clear visibility from every seat, supported by ultra-fast Wi-Fi that keeps your presentations running smoothly. Natural light streams through the windows, creating an energising atmosphere that helps maintain focus throughout the day.
