Meeting Room 1 sits on the upper floors of our Grade I listed building, where twelve people can gather around a solid wooden table while trains rumble past below. The room catches morning light through its original sash windows, and we've kept the Victorian fireplace as a reminder of when this was the station master's office back in 1852. We've furnished the space with forest-green chairs that our members say are surprisingly comfortable for those longer strategy sessions. The pendant lights overhead cast a warm glow across the table, and we've hung a striking black-and-white photograph that often becomes a conversation starter before meetings begin. The exposed brickwork and original ironwork details give the room character without feeling like a museum piece. For presentations, we've installed a wall-mounted screen with full video conferencing capabilities, and the WiFi handles multiple devices without dropping connection. The boardroom layout works particularly well for board meetings and client pitches, though we've seen teams use it for everything from recruitment interviews to creative brainstorming sessions. Our location right inside King's Cross Station means your attendees can step off the Cambridge or Edinburgh train and be in their seats within minutes. Past guests have mentioned how professional the space feels when hosting important clients, and the natural light helps keep everyone alert during afternoon sessions. Some visitors have found us slightly tricky to spot on first visit, so we always recommend looking for the entrance we share with the rail service office at the front of the station. The room comes with access to our stocked kitchen just down the corridor, where you'll find fresh coffee and artisan teas throughout the day. Please note we need two days' notice for catering arrangements.
