The Lancing Room sits on our first floor, offering three distinct areas that can work independently or combine into one larger space for conferences of up to 108 delegates. We've designed this room specifically for professional gatherings, from focused board meetings to company-wide presentations. Navy-blue cushioned chairs complement the patterned carpet throughout, while our light dimmer system lets you create the right atmosphere for any session. We know presentations need different moods, whether you're screening videos or leading workshop discussions. The room adapts easily between boardroom layouts for 48, classroom style for 63, or U-shaped configurations for 52 participants. Our venue provides all the technical equipment you'd expect: LCD projector, microphone system, lectern, flip charts and whiteboards come as standard. The air conditioning keeps everyone comfortable year-round, and full DDA compliance ensures accessibility for all your delegates. Wall sconces and ceiling lights maintain consistent brightness throughout the space, particularly useful for note-taking and interactive sessions. Being on the first floor means quick access to our Open Lobby during breaks, where delegates often gather around the Starbucks coffee station. Our on-site restaurant handles everything from working lunches to formal dinners, with menus tailored to your requirements. Free parking removes one more concern from your planning list, especially valuable given our central Brighton location. Just across the road, the beach offers a natural break space. Many groups take advantage of the seafront during lunch or between sessions, with Brighton Pier visible from our entrance. Our events team, particularly Fran who regular clients know well, coordinates every detail to keep your day running smoothly.
