The Barclay room feels like a private members' club crossed with a creative studio, where serious business happens against a backdrop of curated art and industrial heritage. We've designed this space for 16 people around our boardroom table, positioned on a deep charcoal rug that defines the meeting area within the light timber floors. Your presentations come to life on our 80" LED screen, built into a sleek black shelving unit that doubles as a display for books and objects we've collected over the years. The plug-and-play setup means you're presenting within seconds of walking in, while our video conferencing kit handles hybrid meetings without the usual technical hiccups. When ideas need capturing, there's a glass whiteboard ready for action. We've hung contemporary pendant lights that cast the perfect glow for both morning strategy sessions and late afternoon negotiations. The artwork on our walls, rotating pieces from local artists, adds unexpected colour and often becomes a conversation starter before meetings begin. Natural light filters through from the main building's floor-to-ceiling windows, keeping the space bright without glare on screens. Our on-site café delivers proper coffee and fresh pastries for breakfast meetings, or healthy lunch options when you're powering through all-day sessions.
